To be normal, what a dream
To be like everyone else, with a please
Lots of friends and fun, and some love
Pure gold heart, but gentle as leaves
What wonders, Could I be?
Being not normal, means less friends
Being not normal, means deep blue
Underneath the hue, spirit stays true
What wonders, could I be?
Missed opportunity, and cheer
Every night, to shed a tear
Wild impulses, out of control
Obsessive rituals, terminal
To you though, avoiding being near
What wonders could I be?
I wild beast, to tame
All of them, the same
With love and caring in the world
Why do I have no name?
What wonders, could I be?
Trying hard, is to be social
Being normal, it comes included
Trying hard, to be accepted
Being normal, it sounds stupid
But you, have not been treated right
When you, are our worlds shining light
What wonders, could I be
If I was normal, by being me?

This is very well written. I don’t know a lot about poetry but some of these rhymes are really well thought out. I especially enjoyed it since I just finished the book.

Poetry is so hard, but you really manage to convey your message in a powerful way. Great job!
